（When overpacking lithium battery shipments, must we label each individual boxes and also label the overpack?）

We have multiple packages of lithium battery associated shipments. We therefore place the individual packages on a skid and overpack them for ease in handling. Must we label the individual boxes, and also label the overpack? Or, can we just label the overpack only? (29 Oct 10)
A.
As clearly explained in the paragraph titled Overpack Section II in all the Packing Instructions for lithium batteries, the individual packages must be fully completed with all the Mar ings and labels.
Thence you can overpack with other dangerous goods or non-dangerous goods provided that there are no packages that dangerous react with each other. The overpak must be Mar ed with the words ?gOVERPACK?h and labeled unless the labels on the individual packages are visible from the outside.
