9.3.2.2.5 in DGR 52nd Edition states that Explosives of Div. 1.4B must not be loaded together with any other Explosives except Div. 1.4S, however lacks indication of its segregation distance. How many meters must they be segregated? (31 Jan 11)

ICAO traditionally applies 2m for segregating explosives. DGR 9.3.2.2.5 in the 51st Edition did show a 2m Sep ration distance. Since the 52nd Edition lacked the Sep ration distance, we have inquired IATA and received indication that there was an editorial error and confirmed that the Sep ration distance was 2m. Later, IATA issued an Addendum dated 30 Dec 2010 in which IATA confirmed this correction. Please refer to the TOPICS column of this website.
