(When applying ?gAll packed in one?h for UN 2037 in a LTD QTY packaging, UN 2037 can now be excluded from Q calculation. Why aren?ft UN 3478, UN 3479 and UN 3316 which have a net mass limit per package alike UN 2037 not treated the same?)
Q.
DGR 5.0.3 in the 52nd Edition stipulates that UN 2037 Receptacles, small, containing gas is no longer required to be considered for Q calculation. Almost all Class 2 and Class 9 substances and articles are without a net mass limitation and are indicated for a 30kg G limit per LTD QTY package.

UN 2037 shows a 1kg net mass limit in the blue pages. If this is the reason behind the exception, then, why aren?ft UN 3478, UN 3479 and UN 3316 all having a net mass limit be not treated same as UN 2037 and excluded from Q calculation? (31 Jan 11)
