Does the term ?gpackage?h used in this sentence refer to ?ginner package?h or ?gouter package?h? (31 May 11)
A.
The answer to your question is ?gouter package?h.

When shipping Lithium ion batteries packed with equipment with small capacity batteries, you will refer to the General Requirements and Section II requirements of PI 966. Where it says ?ginner package?h in the rule, it precisely refers to ?ginner package?h.

When it only says ?gpackage?h, it refers to ?gouter package?h unless reference is made in the preceding sentence. Consequently, the answer to your question is that ?gThe maximum number of batteries in each ?gouter?h package must be the minimum number required to power the equipment plus two spares ?gfor each equipment?h.
