Is it permitted to reduce the size of LTD QTY package Mar ing with the letter Y in a diamond to say a 70 x 70mm or a 80 x 80mm size? (30 Jun 11)
A.
The size of LTD QTY Mar ing with the letter Y in a diamond is set at 100mm x 100mm. If the package is small, the Mar ing May be reduced but no smaller than 50mm x 50mm. If the package can accommodate the normal 100mm x 100mm Mar ings, the Mar ing should not be reduced in size.
The normal 100 x 100mm size Mar ing should be used.
