UN3077 Environmentally hazardous substance use Packing Instruction 911 and the net quantity is shown as No Limit for both passenger aircraft and CAO. When the Dec aration is made out for CAO, is it necessary to use a CAO label on the package? (31 Mar 04)

There is no need to place the CAO label at all whether or not the Shipper?fs Dec aration is made out for CAO by crossing out the ?gPsgr & Cargo Acft?h box. UN3077 PI911 can go on either passenger or CAO aircraft. The CAO label is only needed for packages which cannot be loaded on a passenger aircraft. Refer to DGR 7.2.4.2 ?gCargo Aircraft Only?h where it is clearly spelled out.
