（ RQ requirements in USG-04）

In State Variation USG-04, there is a requirement for entry of the letters ?gRQ?h on the DGD and on the package. We want to ship 5 kg of UN 3082 Environmentally hazardous substance, solid, n.o.s. (Di-n-butylphthalete) to the US, and we are seeking for your advice. (31 Jan 10)

Upon checking 49 CFR 172.101 mentioned in State Variation USG-04, we notice that the substance in question, Di-n-butylphtalete, is considered as RQ if the shipment is in excess of 10 pounds (4.54 kg). Since your shipment is 5 kg it exceeds the benc Mar . The letters ?gRQ?h must be entered on the DGD next to the PSN, and also shown on the package next to the PSN.
