(Question on EQ Labels for APIO packages of Excepted Quantity Dangerous Goods.)
Q.
When transporting different EQ Dangerous Goods in one outer package, please advise whether one single Excepted Quantity Package Mark (DGR Figure 2.6.B) should be applied on the APIO package indicating the primary hazards of each of the EQ substances contained, or whether multiple EQ Package Mark should be applied each bearig the primary hazard of the EQ dangerous goods contained in that package?  (31 Mar 20)
A.
When transporting different EQ dangerous goods in one package, the APIO package must bear one single Excepted Quantity Package Mark (DGR Figure 2.6.B). Where you see a single asterisk (*) mark, you will show the primary hazard of all the contents by class numbers, space permitting. If a division number is assigned as primary hazard, the division number must be shown. This requirement is referred in DGR 2.6.7.11 (second sentence) where it says: “The primary hazard class or when assigned, the division of each of the dangerous goods contained in the package must be shown in the mark.”
