(Question on transport of Prevention Kit against coronavirus.)
Q.
I have a question on how to transport a “Prevention Kit” for coronavirus. The Kit consists of “Wipes” and “Hand Sanitzer”. The “Wipes” contain UN1987 Alcohols, n.o.s. Class 3 PG III and therefore I pan to declare it as UN3175 Solids containing flammable liquid, n.o.s. The “Hand sanitizer” is UN1170 Ethyl alcohol solution Class 3 PG II. These are packed together. May I declare these two entries as APIO (All packed in one) or could I declare both as UN3316 Chemical Kit/First Aid Kit?  (31 Mar 20)
A.
Rather than declaring the Wipes as UN3175 Solids containing flammable liquid, n.o.s., you may declare this as UN1987 Alcohols, n.o.s., and declare the Hand Sanitizer as UN1170 Ethyl alcohol solution in the form of APIO. You may also declare both items as UN3316 Chemical Kit.
