(Can overpacks be overpacked again?)
Q.
We have a shipment of ten plastic drums each containing 9L of toxic liquid with each cooled by 6 kg of dry ice. Each drum with the dry ice is overpacked. The 10 overpacks are once again overpacked onto a pallet.

Is this acceptale to have overpacks overpacked again?  (31 Jul 19)
A.
There is noting wrong in overpacking one or more overpacks as long as there is no ned of segregation. The double overpack adds to safety.

All necessary marks and labels must be applied to the first layer overpacks, then plaeed into the second overpack which also must be properly marked and labelled.
