(Question on loading spare batteries and batteries removed from passenger’s mobility aids. )
Q.
The DGR carries stipulations for DGR 2.3.2.2 Wheelhairs/Mobility Aids with Non-spillable Wet Batteries, DGR 2.3.2.3 Wheelchairs/Mobility Aids with Spillable Batteries, and DGR 2.3.2.4 Wheelchairs/Mobility Aids with Lithium Batteries. Do we load the batteries removed from the wheelchairs or spare batteries in the cargo compartment or in the passenger cabin?

The rule indicates that Lithium batteries are to be loaded in the passenger cabin, while non-spillable wet batteries are to be loaded in the cargo compartment. Then, where should we load the spillable batteries?

There is a capacity limit for lithium batteries but there is no such indication for the other wet batteries. Kindly give us guidance. (30 Apr 19)
A.
All conventional batteries other than lithium batteries, whether removed from the mobility aid or spare batteries, are to be packed and loaded in the cargo compartment. Lithium batteries have a capacity limit but conventional batteries do not have a capacity indication.
