Radioisotopic cardiac pacemkers (DGR 2.3.5.4)
If such devices, not implanted or fitted externally, but to be carried in carry-on or checked baggage, do we handle it as PED? (28 Feb 19)

Radioisotopic cardiac pacemakers not implanted or fitted externally will no longer come under 2.3.5.4 but will be subject to the stipulations of 2.3.5.9 Portable Electronic Devices (PED) (including Medical Devices) containing Batteries.
