We are to ship used automobile gasoline fuel tank. For investigation purpose, we are not cleaning the fuel tank for shipment. Can we use UN 3363 Dangerous Goods in Apparatus for the Shipper’s Declaration? (28 Feb 18)

UN3363 Dangerous Goods in Apparatus would be most appropriate for the shipment of used uncleaned automobile fuel tank. I do not know why you need to send the fuel tank for investigation purpose, however, it is advisable to clean the fuel tank before shipment as much as possible without infringing upon the purpose of the investigation.
