(How do we treat the Declaration when the AWB number changes in transit to its final destination?)
Q.
A shipment of dangerous goods is being shipped from United Kingdom to Singapore and thence transshipped to Brunei. The original AWB from United Kingdom is terminated at Singapore, and the shipment is carried on a different airline from Singapore to Brunei on a new AWB. There had been no change with the dangerous goods being shipped. Can we just use the original Dangerous Goods Declaration for the final Singapore/Brunei sector?  (31 Mar 17)
A.
As long as no change is made to the dangerous goods, you can use the original Declaration made in the United Kingdom for the final sector. Change the AWB number to the new number, and if the destination on the original Declaration is made for Singapore, change it to Brunei. No correction signature is necessary.
