I have a question on the IATA Time and Temperature Sensitive Label. Kindly explain what do TIME mentioned in this label exactly mean? What TIME is it referring to? (31 Aug 16)
A.
Time and Temperature Sensitive Label is a label designed for special cargo which are “sensitive to TIME” and/or sensitive to TEMPERATURE”. Cargo such as flowers, fruits, vegetables, fish and marine products, raw meat and meat products, pharmaceutical radioactive material and the like fall under this category. Please refer to IATA Perishable Cargo Regulations and IATA Temperature Control Regulations for details.
