(What is the criteria in segregating RCL cargo with other shipments?)
Q.
In reference to RCL cargo, IATA writes in DGR 9.3.11 that aircraft types, whether there are temperature sensitive cargo on board, or whether there are live animals on board should be considered. What should we precisely check? (31 Jan 16)
A.
For aircraft types, we need to check ventilation rates, pressurization and temperature. As for temperature sensitive cargo, we need to check whether there are vegetables, fruits, fresh produces on board. For live animals, we must check carefully as animals may freeze to death.
