The shipper submitted a Test Report on Lithium Batteries which states that the date of the test is June 1, 2009. The Test Report also mentions Revision 4 of the UN Test 38.3, with a “Pass” on all of the individual tests. May we accept this shipment? (31 Aug 15)

To determine acceptability, you refer not to the date of the test but to under which Revision number the test was conducted. From your explanation, I gather the UN Test 38.3 was done following Revision 4 and have passed all the individual tests. The shipment is acceptable.
