(In 10.8.8.3.3 of the 56 Edition, it says the name/address of the shipper/consignee must be entered in the Nature of Goods column on the AWB. There is no space.)
Q.
DGR 10.8.8.3.3 of the 56 Edition says for Excepted Packages of radioactive material, we must enter the name/address of the shipper/consignee in the Nature of Goods box on the AWB in addition to the UN number, PSN, and package count which was required per 55 Edition. This is impossible as there are no such space in the Nature of Goods box, and the name/address of the shipper/consignee are already shown on the face of the AWB. This appears to be superfluous. (30 Nov 14)

In case of consolidations, the names/addresses of the Shipper/Consignee on the MAWB do not show the true shipper and true consignee. I imagine IAEA must be in need to know the names/addresses of the true shipper and the true consignee At any rate, this is a rule by the IAEA and we need to follow.
