When shipping PBE (Smoke Hood) as per SP A144, we may ship by passenger aircraft. Do we need to use and follow PI 565? (31 May 14)
A.
Yes, except for the CAO label, you must follow PI 565 including all the other requirements as well as the use of UN specification packaging. You must also satisfy the drop test. All conditions of SP A144 must also be followed. The quantity limit is 2 PBE per package as per SP A144 (c).
