(Can I place a dangerous goods package and a non-dangerous goods package in one Overpack?)
Q.
Can I place a dangerous goods package and a non-dangerous goods package in one Overpack? (31 Mar 14)
A.
An Overpack is for the purpose of combining several packages into one lot. As long as they do not react dangerously with each other, dangerous goods and non-dangerous goods can be placed inside one single Overpack. CAO packages, PAX packages, LQ packages, EQ packages and non-dangerous packages may be mixed and placed inside one Overpck. In case, you cannot see or have access to the packages inside the Overpack, you need to mark the Overpack according to DGR 7.1.7.1 and 7.1.7.2.
