We have used an oxygen bottle which was loaded on the airplane for passenger medical use. Please guide us on how to send back an empty oxygen bottle and also how to handle a half empty bottle. Please also guide us on DGR 5.0.2.13.5.1; 5.0.2.13.5.2 and 7.2.3.11.1. (31 Oct 13)

If the bottle is not totally empty, returning the bottle must be declared as UN 1072 Oxygen compressed and follow Packing Instruction 200. If the bottle is completely empty. You can return it as Not Restricted. DGR 5.0.2.13.5.1; 5.0.2.13.5.2 and 7.2.3.11.1 all refer to empty packages and have no direct bearing with empty oxygen cylinders.
