Does the 5kg of small ammunition allowed to be carried by passengers as checked baggage require a label of 1.4S? What about the packaging? How should it be packed? (30 Nov 12)
A.
Yes, the 1.4S label must be affixed even if it is passenger baggage. The UN number (UN 0012 or UN 0014). the PSN and the quantity must be marked on the box. The box need not be UN specification packagings but must be strong enough to hold the contents safely
