A shipment of fire extinguishers was Dec ared as UN 1956 Compressed gas, n.o.s. (xxxxx) instead of UN 1044 Fire Extinguishers. Isn’t this an error? (31 Aug 12)

Without checking the MSDS, it is not possible to determine the reason why the shipment was Dec ared as UN 1956 instead of UN 1044. Since the entry of Fire Extinguisher is distinctly shown in the blue pages, unless there is some precise reason, it should not be Dec ared under a different UN number. Please recheck the MSDS.
