Due to the change in the handling of battery operated wheelchairs, we have removed a nickel cadmium dry battery from the wheelchair. What PSN should we use to report this battery to the captain on the NOTOC? (31 Jul 12)
A.
You can use the simple term “Dry Battery” or “Nickel cadmium dry battery – Not restricted.” Most airlines would not show it on the NOTOC because it is not regulated.
