(Can I pack a dangerous goods in excepted quantity (EQ) together with a non-dangerous goods?)
Q.
Can I pack a dangerous goods in excepted quantity (EQ) together with a non-dangerous goods? (31 May 10)
A.
You can ship EQ quantities of dangerous goods together with non-DG goods provided the substances would not react with each other or affect each other. There is one restriction. You cannot pack an EQ with a DG requiring a DGD as written in DGR 2.7.5.2. Even if the other substance is a non-DG, you must follow the 4th bullet hole of 2.7.1, i.e., DGR 5.0.2.4; 5.0.2.6.1; 5.0.2.8; 5.0.2.9; and 5.0.2.11(a).
