An electronic body (pocket) warmer would come under DGR 2.3.5.9 Portable electronic devices containing batteries rather than DGR 2.3.4.7 Heat producing articles. There will be no restriction if for lithium metal and lithium alloy batteries, the lithium contents is no greater than 2g., and for lithium ion batteries, the watt hour rating is no greater than 100Wh.
