When shipping UN 3481 as dangerous goods per Section I of Packing Instruction 966, please confirm whether the items quoted in Additional Requirement I are mandatory conditions. Also, do we have to indicate OVERPACK on the package as well as on the DGD even if we used a UN packaging? (31 Aug 10)

Affirmative, the 3 bullet points written in Additional Requirements - Section I in PI 966 are mandatory ?gmust?h items. From 2011, the OVERPACK provision will be deleted but this year, the rule is still there. You must indicate OVERPACK on the outside of the package and also on the DGD.
